After his appearance on La Casa de los Famosos 4 and despite not being one of the most beloved contestants, Clovis Nienow has now secured a job at Telemundo.

The blonde actor was introduced as the new host of the morning show Hoy Día, following the departure of Daniel Arenas several months ago.

Now, Clovis joins the team of hosts alongside Carlitos Calderón, Penélope Menchaca, Chiky Bombom, and Andrea Meza, as shown in a video.

In an Instagram post, the actor expressed gratitude for the opportunity, and in the video, he tearfully remembered his late parents.

Hoy Día welcomes a new host

«I’m excited to share this great news: I’m officially joining the Hoy Día family! I’m super happy and grateful for this opportunity that life has given me,» he wrote.

The actor also shed tears during his introduction in front of all the other Hoy Día hosts on Telemundo.

His colleagues introduced and congratulated him on joining the show, to which he responded, «I feel so happy, it’s a dream come true, and my life has changed for the better.»

«I’m nervous but thankful for this opportunity. Thank you all for trusting me. I’ll learn so much from you, and we’ll bring joy and fun to the audience,» he added.

Clovis Nienow remembers his parents

In tears, the actor recalled his parents, who passed away several years ago: «I have two angels in heaven guiding me.»

«I would have loved for them to be here watching, but I know they’re cheering me on from above,» he added emotionally.
