Honduran President Xiomara Castro introduced an emergency program for deported migrants.

The program, «Hermano, vuelve a casa» (Brother, come home), aims to support returnees with bonuses and opportunities.

Each migrant will receive $100, food supplies, and $1,000 in seed capital.

Castro emphasized the importance of promoting rural and urban entrepreneurship.

This Monday, the United States deported 133 undocumented Hondurans.

The deportations follow executive orders by Donald Trump.

The U.S. President declared a «national emergency» at the border with Mexico.

Trump aims to deport 11 million undocumented people in the country.

The Honduran President has called for an urgent meeting of CELAC leaders.

The meeting will be held on Thursday in a hybrid format.
