  • The mystery of the plane that landed 37 years later remains unsolved.
  • A paranormal researcher has a theory.
  • What happened to the pilot?

Although such situations are rare, Flight 513 was not the first plane to vanish without a trace only to reappear after many years. What the passengers did not know is that their trip was going to last 37 years. Of course, no one expected what they would find inside the plane when it returned.

The plane had disappeared without a trace. Its flight path was over a part of the Atlantic and the only explanation was that it had crashed somewhere along the way. Various search teams were deployed but were unsuccessful, not even a piece of the plane was found.

The following is one of those urban myths, one that followers of the supernatural are probably all too familiar with. Santiago Airlines Flight 513 departed on September 4, 1954 from Aachen, West Germany, heading to Porto Alegre, Brazil on an 18-hour flight.

However, the Lockheed L1049 Constellation simply disappeared mid-flight in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Following the disappearance, authorities assumed the worst and believed that the plane had crashed. Many searches for the plane and its occupants were carried out but none were successful. According to the story, three and a half decades later, on October 12, 1989, personnel at Porto Alegre Airport, Brazil witnessed something horrifying. An L1049 that was circling the airport landed without contacting the control tower. The controllers tried to make contact with the crew by radio, but without success.

After landing, the plane rolled to the apron and came to a stop with its engines running. The plane was in perfect condition but the name of the airline gave a shiver to the ramp staff who were about to open the door of the plane. On board they found 92 perfectly preserved skeletons belonging to the 88 passengers and four crew members including Captain Victor Miguel Cury. Filed From: Plane Landed Skeletons

Dr. Celso Atello, a paranormal researcher, said that Flight 513 from Santiago had almost certainly entered a time warp and that there is no other explanation. But he doesn’t seem to have had an explanation for how the pilot’s skeleton managed to land the plane safely.

Santiago Airlines apparently closed in 1956 and its still-living executives didn’t know much about the flight to comment on it. Although government agents had thoroughly investigated this strange occurrence, they refused to comment on the plane or their investigative leads. Filed From: Plane Landed Skeletons

Plane landed skeletons: Is it possible to go through that time tunnel and come back again?

In this world, there are hundreds of places where planes, ships, boats or even people disappear without a trace. Many intellectuals believe that such places unpredictably create some types of time portals called vortexes.

The vortex is said to be the result of the parallel universe. According to this theory, the vortex opens into another world, a parallel universe that consists of antimatter and can absorb people, masses, or even light and time. That is, the missing people in this world arrive in another world in a matter of seconds. Filed From: Plane Landed Skeletons
