According to reports from local firefighters, the initial explosion was attributed to a suspected natural gas leak.

The explosion in Youngstown, which occurred around 2:45 p.m., damaged a building and blew out the facade, according to WKBN-TV.

The seven injured were taken to Mercy Health Hospital in Youngstown.
