Emma Coronel boasts achievement
In her most recent post, Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán’s wife proudly showed off her skydiving certificate.
Through her stories on her Instagram account, Coronel shared her recent feat with her more than 213 thousand followers.
In one of them, you can see the document that acknowledges his participation in a parachute jump carried out on July 27.
«This certificate is awarded to Emma Coronel. For bravely completing a tandem parachute jump,» the document reads.
The statement was issued by iSkyDive America, which was founded in 2001 by Luther Kurtz, certifying her tandem jump.
This type of jump is common for beginners as it is done with an instructor.
Although it is not specified which iSkyDive America location she made her jump at, the company operates in multiple locations across the United States, including Miami, Los Angeles, New York, and San Diego.
In another Instagram story, Emma Coronel shared a photo from inside an aircraft, showing the views of the sea before her jump.
This act of ‘courage’ by ‘El Chapo’s’ wife occurs at a complicated time for the Sinaloa Cartel.
Two days before Colonel Aispuro parachuted, two important members of the criminal group were arrested in El Paso, Texas.
Among those arrested were Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada, leader and founder of the organization, and Joaquín Guzmán López, leader of the ‘Los Chapitos’ faction.
Emma Coronel, 34, was arrested in February 2021 and subsequently convicted of collaborating with the Sinaloa Cartel in money laundering and drug trafficking activities.
