Mariana Gutiérrez, known as «the lawyer of the stars,» has broken her silence about her relationship with actor Eduardo Yáñez.

She accused him of being violent, controlling, and financially dependent during their eight-month relationship.

The lawyer revealed that, while the relationship initially seemed promising, it soon became toxic and abusive.

The revelations were made during an interview with TV y Notas.

«I met Eduardo about three years ago. He was recommended to me regarding his mother’s apartment issue,» Mariana Gutiérrez shared with the publication.

«I started as his lawyer, and then a friendship developed. He began courting me, and now I see he did it to take advantage,» she stated.

Mariana claimed that during their relationship, she never charged Yáñez for her legal services.

«I never charged him a cent for the legal matters I handled. I also supported him with very expensive medical treatments and helped him financially with everything,» she added.

Mariana disclosed that Yáñez suffers from several health conditions, including early-stage Parkinson’s, spinal and knee problems, and an unspecified chronic illness.

«He took 10 colored pills a day,» she revealed, adding that she also helped him with treatments for schizophrenia and a severe marijuana addiction.

«On his birthday a year ago, I organized something nice, but he arrived completely out of it, on drugs,» she said.

«He was agitated, trembling, and started speaking harshly to me. That’s when I realized how unwell he was,» Mariana recounted.

Mariana claimed that Yáñez became excessively controlling and jealous.

«He was terribly jealous of Pablo Montero and Gustavo Adolfo Infante. He constantly questioned where I was and why I hadn’t called him,» she explained.

Gutiérrez also mentioned that Yáñez had a close relationship with his publicist, Margarita Iterian, and suspected that she helped him «choose victims.»

According to Mariana, Yáñez targeted financially stable individuals to exploit.

«At one point, we planned to have a baby, but now I see he did it to secure a life insurance policy from me,» she alleged.

The relationship ended after a heated conflict, and Mariana cut off all contact with Yáñez.

She recounted an incident where the actor slammed a table in front of others during an outburst.

«That day, I was certain I was just a step away from him hitting me, although he never did,» she told TV y Notas.

«He was violent, ungrateful, disloyal, and treacherous after everything I did for him. I even lent him a Mercedes Benz,» Mariana said.

Mariana Gutiérrez has filed two lawsuits against Eduardo Yáñez: one for gender-based violence and another for moral damages.

She clarified that she is not seeking jail time for the actor but rather financial compensation ranging from 300,000 to one million pesos.

«Today, I feel at peace. I urge women who encounter someone like this to walk away, report it, and not tolerate violence,» she concluded.

The accusations add to Eduardo Yáñez’s history of explosive temper incidents.

This includes altercations with the press and public confrontations.

While the actor has not commented on these latest allegations, the case could lead to significant legal and media repercussions.
