A 5.8-magnitude earthquake was felt in Puerto Rico during the early hours of Tuesday, February 25.

According to the EFE news agency, the earthquake was recorded at 1:48 AM local time.
Its intensity was measured at IV in Aguadilla and was detected 57 miles northeast of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, as reported by the Puerto Rico Seismic Network.
