The report specifies that a single bullet entered the man’s left temple and went straight through his brain, exiting through the right temple. Brian Christopher Laundrie, 23, committed suicide and left his notebook as the final piece of evidence that would imply that he had been the one who murdered Gabby Petito. When Petito’s remains were discovered, it was determined that she had died of strangulation.

Laundrie’s teeth revealed his identity

Were there personal items?

The report not only indicates the marks found on Laundrie’s bones but also revealed that several personal items were found along with the 23-year-old’s body. Last November, the existence of Laundrie’s notebook was revealed and on this occasion it was confirmed that there were also clothes, rings and even the weapon he used to kill himself.

“Several personal items were found at the scene, including a pair of green shorts, slip-on shoes, a white metal ring, a backpack and a gun, that was on the ground” stated Brian Laundrie’s autopsy report, which was shared a couple of hours ago.

Did he leave a note?

A little further from the original area, authorities reportedly found skeletal remains of animals, a half handwritten note and a “MOAB Coffee Roasters” hat, according to the autopsy report. As of now, the details surrounding the note they found have not been revealed, much less the contents of the backpack.

But that was not all, they also located a dry bag with Laundrie’s diary and a wooden box with a small notebook and a photo of himself, according to the report.
