Woman rams people and police cars. Residents of Georgia had a moment of terror when a woman ran into several cars while attempting to escape from the authorities at a traffic stop. The Dashcam video of the incident is circulating on social media.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, a Georgia police department shared an intense Dashcam video showing a dangerous traffic arrest. The clip shows several people standing outside their vehicles, when they suddenly received the shock of their lives.

Driver rams several cars in Georgia

The reckless driver in Georgia was caught on dramatic video striking a patrol car, nearly hitting two bystanders and ramming police cars during a traffic stop last Friday, authorities said. The officers immediately responded to arrest the woman.

It all started when officers responded to a call about an SUV heading into the oncoming lane of traffic and nearly hitting other vehicles on Georgia Highway 42 near Byron, Byron police said after the incident.

Police tried to talk to the woman

When officers arrived on scene, police said witnesses had already blocked off the vehicle at the intersection of Highway 42 and Highway 49. Officers attempted to speak to the woman, but said she was uncooperative and unresponsive to their orders, according to Fox News.

After placing sticks under the driver’s tires, she backed into a car that stopped behind her and then lurched forward, striking a Byron police officer and a police car, the department said. The chase started

After repeated warnings from officers, the driver backed up and drove forward again, this time hitting two witnesses and a second police car, authorities said. She sped north on Highway 42 with a flat tire and police in pursuit.

Officers attempted to block her car again, but she hit a third patrol vehicle and struck another police car a second time, causing serious damage, the video shows. “The Byron Police Department is extremely grateful for the citizens who helped”

Bystanders used their own cars to block the driver in after a brief chase. Officers pulled the driver out of the car and handcuffed her. Some other bystanders appear to be trying to take matters into their own hands. The video shows them banging on the windows. During the arrest, a child is removed from the back seat.

«The Byron Police Department is extremely grateful for the citizens who helped,» a Byron police statement said. No charges have been announced and the Peach County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
