According to Page Six Demi Lovato was spotted out with her new boyfriend, musician Jordan Lutes, better known as Jute$, in New York on Tuesday. It was learned that, they were canoodling in a restaurant. They were seen holding hands as they left.

Hours before, the singer was at Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, where she performed Substance, a song that comes from her most recent album, Holy FVCK, which will be released on Friday, August 19. Demi has plenty of reasons to be happy both personally and professionally.

In one of his most recent social media posts, Jute$ showed a clip of his girlfriend, Demi Lovato’s Tonight Show performance. He also dedicated an emotional message to her that the singer was quick to respond to.

“Everything I write comes from personal experiences”: Demi Lovato

In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1, Demi Lovato, who had a brief courtship with actor Cody Linley, said that everything she writes comes from personal experiences and that, just last year, she went through a difficult time and went back into therapy.

“In fact, I haven’t written love songs in a long time. If I go through my catalogue, there are maybe three or four love songs on the last few albums. But actually writing a song about, hey, ‘I’m in love with you. I found it.’ That hasn’t existed in a lot of my music. So I started to feel these feelings and thought, ‘I have to get them off my chest.’ And I wanted to write a song inspired by Iris by Goo Goo Dolls… and I wrote it. And all my heart is in that song.”

In the same interview, Demi Lovato was asked if she had played that song for ‘the gentleman’ and she did not hesitate to answer yes: “This person understands music very well and that’s why I even send him the drafts or the demos.
