Don Francisco has dedicated his retirement to spending time with family

The 81-year-old presenter said that since his retirement from television he spends his life quietly at his home in Miami. He stays healthy and active by walking and riding a bicycle around the city.

He also enjoys time with his family. He’s been married for over 60 years, has nine grandchildren and a great-grandson who are his «weakness», as Don Francisco explained in the interview with Yordi Rosado.

Now he’s venturing into writing

He gave details about his latest book. The slowdown of the pandemic led Don Francisco to think about his life and career and to write a book on «the final path of his existence». It’s called Con ganas de vivir.

According to Excelsior, in the introduction to his book, Don Francisco admits feeling «somewhat disoriented» now that he doesn’t fill his days producing his show.
