A very disturbing video been released showing a 28-year-old man being beaten in the aisles of a Walmart store after attacking a woman and allegedly sexually assaulting her. The suspect’s name is Jarmal Bredan Harvey, according to various outlets including The New York Post and Hoy Día.

According to shocked witnesses, the man threw himself at a woman in the middle of Walmart. He pulled up her skirt and ripped off her underwear in an alleged attempt to rape her. Several people rushed to assist the young woman who was terrified.

According to Hoy Dia’s Instagram video: “A woman was about to be raped inside a #Walmart supermarket in Miami. Thanks to the screams of the young woman, Jarmal Bredan Harvey, 28, was arrested and accused of touching the woman’s private parts, throwing her to the ground and ripping off her underwear.»

According to reports from the authorities, the dramatic moment happened around 9:30 on Sunday night in a Miami-Dade Walmart located on Northwest 79th Street. The man, named Jarmal Bredan Harvey, took advantage of his victim by grabbing her from behind.

The woman screamed when the man grabbed her from behind, pulled up her dress, touched her private parts and then ripped off her underwear. The other customers were shocked because it happened in one of the aisles of the Miami-Dade Walmart.

Hearing her screams, several men came to her aid and forcibly restrained the 28-year-old man. Meanwhile, witnesses tried to calm the terrified young woman. A person recorded Harvey being restrained while they waited for authorities to arrive.

Given the facts, the position of the superstore was clear: «We are very disturbed to see something like this in our store and we are grateful to those who intervened to stop the alleged attack and detain this man until the police arrived.»

The man who assaulted the girl was on probation.

“It wasn’t somewhere isolated. He didn’t care it was in the wide open. Because he was so brazen, investigators feel perhaps he may have done this before, and there may be more victims,” Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said after the arrest of the 28-year-old man.

As mentioned on Hoy Día, 28-year-old Jarmal Bredan Harvey was on parole: «They took him to jail and he is accused of attempted rape, touching the woman’s private parts, throwing her into the ground and tear off her underwear,» they stated.

Jarmal Bredan Harvey faces several charges
