The body of a young woman, 20 years old, was found six months after she was reported missing. The authorities reported that the young woman, identified as Valeria Jasso, traveled from Guadalajara to San José de Los Cabos and disappeared on January 26.

The Jasso case stirred up memories of the missing young woman, Debanhi Escobar, who went to party and ended up being found dead 15 days later. The Mexican authorities found Escobar’s body in the cistern of a motel and the investigation is still ongoing due to the inconsistencies on the case.

VALERIA JASSO IS FOUND DEAD

On January 26 of this year, a young woman identified as Valeria Jassso disappeared after traveling to San José de Los Cabos. Jasso, 20 years old, was being sought by the Mexican authorities, who reported that she had traveled from Guadalajara to Los Cabos and, shortly after, her relatives reported her missing.

Unfortunately, Valeria Jasso has been found dead. Local media reported that the Baja California Attorney General’s Office identified the young woman’s body in a vacant lot in San José del Cabo, after six months of searching. The state police notified her closest relatives of the discovery.

How was her body discovered?

Through the official account of the Attorney General’s Office, it was announced that the young woman was found dead and they attached the search bulletin that was released shortly after her relatives filed the missing persons report. They reported that Valeria had traveled to Los Cabos for vacation.

«The PGJEBCS thanks the citizens for their cooperation and assistance in the dissemination of the Alba Protocol card in the name of Valeria Daylín Carrillo Jasso, who was reported missing, and who unfortunately was found dead,» stated the bulletin published by the PGJEBCS official account of the Attorney General’s Office.

What was her cause of death?

Not only was the discovery of Valeria Jasso’s lifeless body reported, but 20-year-old’s cause of death was also announced. According to El Financiero, the autopsy carried out by the Attorney General’s Office revealed a gunshot wound to the head as the cause of her death.

At the moment, it is unknown if Jasso suffered sexual abuse or physical violence, but the investigation will continue. The autopsy also revealed a very important fact: Valeria died six months ago.
