Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Machine was listed on Airbnb and sold out in minutes

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film’s premiere, Warner Bros and Airbnb offered three one-night stays in the famous van belonging to Scooby-Doo and his gang. It sold out in minutes!

According to the announcement posted on Airbnb, actor Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy, Scooby-Doo’s faithful companion, will host guests in this van converted into a caravan parked on the Malibu coast in southern California.

“Zoinks! It’s been 20 years since I played Shaggy in the first live-action ‘Scooby-Doo’ film by Warner Bros., but his spirit has been with me since. To celebrate, I’m throwing it back to 2002 with a totally groovy stay in the gang’s beloved Mystery Machine, monsters not included,» the actor wrote on the vacation rental platform.

“The Mystery Machine was extremely popular and the three nights available (June 24, 25 and 26) were booked in a matter of minutes,” an Airbnb representative told CNN.

Inside the van guests will find a lava lamp, mystery games and even a retro TV to watch the movie again. There will also be plenty of Scooby Snacks to enjoy. In addition, a dinner has been organized, which will include all of Shaggy and Scooby’s favorite foods, such as hot dogs and eggplant burgers, CNN detailed.
