Authorities and media report that two planes collided at the North Las Vegas Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the brutal accident.

The incident occurred near Las Vegas, New Mexico, about 123 miles (197 kilometers) northeast of Albuquerque. Three police department employees and a firefighter were on board, according to AP. A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said the helicopter, a Bell UH-1H, went down around 10 pm Saturday.
“There are no known survivors”
New Mexico State Police confirmed the crash at about 12:15 am Sunday. The aircraft’s occupants were returning to Albuquerque after helping local firefighters battle a wildfire. The identities of the victims and the possible cause of the crash have not yet been released.
