New deadlines for monthly direct payments for Americans

WHERE WILL THE PAYMENTS COME FROM?

According toThe Sun, the payments are part of a guaranteed income program for the beneficiaries which has $6,000 to give out to 150 households that are residents of Evanston, Illinois. The deadline to apply will be August 29, so you must hurry to apply to receive that money.

This pilot program is a partnership and collaboration between the city and Northwestern University. This support began in 2019 when the pandemic emerged, as help for families who were left without jobs due to the closure of businesses.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Applicants must live in Evanston, Illinois with a family income equal to or below 250% of the federal poverty line. They also have to meet the following requirements: Be between 18-24 years old or over 62, but above all they must be members of the undocumented community.
