Mexican mother throws a ‘satanic’ party for her 1-year-old daughter (PHOTOS)

A few days ago, a Mexican mother Janeth Zapata, shared one of the most special moments in her little girl’s life, her first birthday. However, the unusual ‘satanic’ party captured the attention of thousands on TikTok, where the young mother received a lot of criticism.

The Mexican mother shared photos of the ‘satanic’ party she threw for her daughter on TikTok. The video has gotten more than 170,000 likes, more than 3,000 comments and has been viewed 2.4 million times.

The satanic birthday party

In the images, Janeth Zapata’s daughter can be seen wearing a black outfit and behind her are black decorations and a balloon with a number 1, for her first year. In the photos you can also see several pentagrams, stars, black candles and both pink and black balloons.

In addition, the piñata for the party was called a demon in the comments, though later it was clarified that it was «Baphomet». According to the Mythology Fandom site, it is «an ancient deity supposedly worshiped by the Order of the Knights Templar.»

The mother exploded after the online criticism

After receiving enormous criticism for the unusual party, the mother exploded and said that her family is not satanic, that there were guests at the party despite the fact that the photos showed only the little girl and the decorations.

She also clarified that «the party is not satanic» and that «the piñata is not Satan, nor the devil,» but «Baphomet». Also, she said that the pentagram «is not inverted, because it is not satanic.» Still, the criticism continued.

The name of the little girl also provoked anger

The mother also clarified that «the theme of the party was natural energies, protections, etc.» Another thing that caught the attention of the thousands of  TikTok users was the name of the one-year-old girl.
