He even made it to Hollywood with movies like Two Mules for Sister Sara (1970), starring Clint Eastwood, as well as The Legend of Zorro (2005), with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Perhaps people remember him most for telenovelas such as Mundo de juguete, La fiera, María Belén, Amarte es mi pecado y Barrera de amor. He last appeared in La mexicana y el güero, released a year and a half ago, according to Agencia Reforma.
