Actor Manuel Ojeda has died at age 81 as confirmed by the National Association of Actors through its Twitter account. The actor gained fame for his many roles in film and television. He is remembered for his role as Zolo in the Hollywood movie Romancing the Stone, according to information from agencies El Universal, Reforma and Publimetro.

“The National Association of Actors deeply regrets the death of our partner Manuel Salvador Ojeda ‘Manuel Ojeda’, a member of our union. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. May he rest in Peace,” they tweeted.
