INCREDIBLE HIDDEN TREASURE! A New Jersey man discovered a fabulous hidden treasure while he was doing some home renovations. Apparently, someone decided to hide it underground and it could have been buried there for almost 100 years!

Rich Gilson was doing some major renovations to his home on Andrews Avenue in Wildwood when he made the incredible discovery. A valuable treasure that had been hidden there for decades, but was still in pristine condition.

One day, Gilson grabbed a rake and started digging under the porch of his Wildwood home, when unexpectedly a curious package caught his eye in all the dirt and debris. It was a perfectly preserved roll of money.

«My wife was in there painting and I said you got to come see this, you won’t believe what I just found,» he said. To his surprise, Gilson found two rolls of cash that were carefully packaged tightly rolled into cigar shapes.

What did he find?

What Gilson found hidden under his porch were lots and lots of $10 and $20 bills. It was $2,000 in total, dating back to 1934, and still in very good condition.

“I thought it was trash,” the surprised home owner told local media. It might not seem like a lot of money, but it back then it was a fortune. Taking inflation into account, at that time it was worth almost $43,000 dollars, explained FOX29.

What will he do with the money?

Trying to find an explanation for why the money was there, the owner of the house has gone through a couple of theories: “Either someone robbed a bank and buried it there, or someone did not trust banks in 1934 during the height of the depression” he commented.

Now that he has his $2,000 dollars in his possession, the question is what will Gilson do with the money, because the man says that he will not spend it! So what will he do with the money? What would you do?

Rich Gilson says he doesn’t intend to spend any of his newfound money, preferring instead to keep it as proof of the interesting discovery story under his front porch. He told Fox29 that this story is well worth the $2,000!
