Macy’s brings back Toys»R»Us. For a few months now, the news of the return of the stores most loved by children in the United States, Toys”R”Us, had been circulating on social media. This has generated enormous joy in people who grew up with the iconic brand.

According to The Sun, beloved children’s toy store, Toys”R”Us, filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and subsequently closed its doors. Now, Macy’s has some great news for this Christmas season and many people are thrilled.

Macy’s announces return of Toys»R»Us toy store

Toys“R”Us is going to return to different parts of the country this Christmas, where millions of children will be able to enjoy buying their favorite toys. Starting this month, Toys“R”Us brand products will be on sale at all Macy’s flagship stores across the country.

It should be remembered that the well-known company tried to return in 2019 with two pop-up locations, but eventually closed due to low sales and poor performance. This news comes five years after the store filed for bankruptcy and all of its stores in the US closed.

Macy’s brings back Toys»R»Us this holiday season

The launch of the pop-up toy stores comes at the end of July. All the locations are expected to be complete by October 15. In addition, the company will offer nine days of in-store events (October 15-23), including family-friendly activities and giveaways from brands like LEGO and Barbie.

“Macy’s can’t wait to bring the Toys’R’Us experience to life in our stores. We hope that Toys ‘R’ Us kids of all ages discover the joy of exploring and playing in our stores and that families create special memories together,” said Nata Dvir, chief merchandising officer for Macy’s.

A month later, it was reported that unknown benefactors had purchased all remaining stock from two locations in North Carolina so they could be donated to charity.
