In her controversial new memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, actress and television star Jennette McCurdy confesses that she was jealous of Ariana Grande when they starred together on Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat.
According to Vive USA, actress Jennette McCurdy, star of the immensely popular Nickelodeon series iCarly, confirmed that she was jealous of her co-star Ariana Grande, and resented her for being able to pursue other career opportunities.

In her book, I’m Glad My Mom Died, which came out on August 9, the 30-year-old actress wrote: ‘I have to turn down movies while Ariana’s off whistle-toning at the Billboard Music Awards? Fuck this,» she wrote, according to the Daily Mail.
In her book, she repeatedly complained that the producers of Sam & Cat did not allow her to record episodes at other times, while Ariana Grande received different, preferential treatment for being an emerging singer.

In the book Jennette McCurdy said that she grew up in a Mormon home where one of the priorities was her belief in God. Because of this, her mother forbade her to be friends with Miranda because she did not believe in God and was even rude to her on set.
