A video shared on ViralHog, which was captured by a personal GoPro camera, shows the attempted robbery of a tourist who was riding a bicycle near a park. In just a couple of minutes everything turned into chaos.

What appeared to be just a friendly rapprochement between the tourist and an individual who intercepted him on a motorcycle ended in a moment of panic. The shocking thing is that the thief never imagined that his face was being recorded.

At the beginning of the video, we can see a calm panorama, while a peaceful tourist rides along the bike lane and enjoys nature and the fresh air coming from the park that is on his right, a few meters away.

The decision to split from his group of friends to explore the area on his own turned out to be a bad one, as he did not expect someone to try to take advantage of his lack of knowledge of the place.

The robber tried to stop him

Later, unafraid of committing such an act in broad daylight, the robber tried to block the tourist’s way by crossing his path with his motorcycle, thus making it impossible for him to continue his journey.

Seeing this, the tourist quickly dodged him, since he mistakenly thought that the motorcyclist had only stopped in front of him unintentionally. So he decided to go around him and continue riding.

The robber chased the cyclist with a gun

Realizing that his mission to intimidate his victim on the first try had failed, the criminal set out to chase the tourist as fast as he could, and managed to catch up with him a few meters ahead.

Then, without hesitation, the assailant took out a weapon, yelled: «Take off your backpack» and tried to steal the tourist’s belongings. The tourist said: «I don’t understand what you’re telling me.»

The tourist managed to escape

After the struggle between the criminal and the cyclist, a pedestrian noticed what was happening and approached them. Immediately, the assailant put his gun away and the tourist ran off to look for his group of friends.

Finally, in the recording, the tourist can be heard running as fast as possible while laughing nervously. When he reaches his friends, he quickly tells them what happened and they try to find a police officer to tell report the attempted robbery.
