Zion Foster was murdered in Michigan
Jaylin Brazier, 25, is accused of killing his cousin Zion Foster, 17. His jury trial began on Monday at the Wayne County Circuit Court.
The Deputy Prosecutor of Wayne County, Michigan, revealed more details of this chilling case.
«Zion is gone forever; her body was never even found,» said Ryan Elsey.
He also said Brazier disposed of his cousin’s body as though she were a piece of trash.
Jaylin Brazier contradicted himself over and over
According to The Detroit News, Jaylin initially said that his cousin had not been with him the night she disappeared.
Later, he said they had smoked marijuana together, she died, he panicked, and threw her body in a dumpster.
He also revealed that they had taken LSD and that was likely what killed her.
«It was lie after lie after lie,» said Ryan Elsey, Deputy Prosecutor of Wayne County, Michigan.
It’s unknown how Zion Foster died
Jaylin Brazier’s lawyer said his client made a bad decision but that does not mean he is a murderer.
«He panicked and he did something he shouldn’t have by dumping the body,» said Brian Brown,according to The Detroit News.
Had Zion’s body been found, an autopsy would have been performed, and it would have been discovered what really happened
The trial, which just started on Monday, is expected to last two to three weeks.
