On Wednesday, December 11, the wrestling world mourned the loss of Ultratumba, who passed away due to a chronic degenerative illness.
Wrestler Ultratumba Spent Over 30 Years in the Ring
Rudy Frank Nah, known by his ring name Ultratumba, passed away in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
According to the portal Por Esto!, he had been battling diabetes for several years, a condition that ultimately claimed his life.

Fortunately, his fellow wrestlers managed to honor him with a tribute during his lifetime in a wrestling event held last year.
His remains were mourned at a funeral home in the city, where family and friends bid him a final farewell.
Ultratumba, with a career spanning over three decades, trained under mentors such as El Cachorro, Irlandés, and Espartano.
Born in Mérida, Yucatán, Rudy Frank Nah entered the wrestling world at the age of 19.
He is remembered for his fierce rivalries with prominent wrestlers like Lizmark and Máscara Sagrada.
In 2017, he made the tough decision to retire from professional wrestling.
Recognized as an ‘Eternal Legend’
During the tribute held for him last year, Ultratumba was recognized as an «eternal legend.»
The proceeds from the event were donated to help cover his medical expenses.
Wrestlers who participated in the event included Ala Plateada Jr., Ala Dorada, and Silver Man.
