Although the current vote count has not yet confirmed an official victory for Donald Trump, world leaders have sent him advance congratulatory messages.

This is to celebrate the apparent return to the White House of the Republican, according to information published by The Associated Press.

One of the first to send congratulations to Trump was the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele.

Through a brief, yet significant message in English, the Salvadoran wrote: «Congratulations to the President-elect of the United States of America, @realDonaldTrump. May God bless you and guide you.»

World Leaders Congratulate Trump

It is worth remembering that Trump had congratulated Bukele on his inauguration as President of El Salvador in 2019.

«The United States is ready to work with Nayib Bukele to promote prosperity in El Salvador and the hemisphere,» he wrote on that occasion.

«Congratulations President Bukele on your inauguration!» Trump said on his official account of the then-called Twitter.

The message was noteworthy considering Trump often criticized that nation for the constant flow of immigrants heading to the United States.

The Prime Minister of Israel and the Presidents of Argentina, France, and Ukraine Also Congratulate Trump

For his part, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed his enthusiasm for Trump’s victory with a message on the social network X.

«Congratulations on the greatest comeback in history! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for the United States and a powerful renewed commitment to the great alliance between Israel and the United States.”

Meanwhile, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, also used X to send a message to the Republican leader.

«Ready to work together as we did for four years. With your convictions and mine. In respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity,” Macron posted.

All this in a context where the vote count is about to officially confirm the outcome of the 2024 elections.

The former president claimed a victory against Vice President Kamala Harris with good partial results, although the final data has yet to be confirmed.

For now, only Fox News has proclaimed his victory, which is expected to be resounding.

This is because he has currently secured 267 of the 270 necessary Electoral College delegates.

He can secure those delegates when the three from the conservative state of Alaska or any of the remaining four key states, where he also has the lead, are declared.
