Cesia Sáenz — the winner of the most recent generation of La Academia (a reality show broadcast on TV Azteca) — opened her mouth a little too much on the Auténtico podcast with Spanish host Pedro Prieto, in regards to William Valdés. Now, the Cuban actor and host breaks his silence after his alleged sexual preferences are revealed.

Born on January 10, 1994 in Havana, Cuba, William rose to fame before the age of 20 when he was part of the disbanded pop group CD9 along with Jos Canela, Alonso Villalpando, Alan Navarro and Freddy Leyva. The young artist didn’t last even a year in this Mexican boy band.

William Valdés is said to ‘play for both teams’

On several occasions, William Valdés has been romantically linked to the young woman from Guatemala, so Pedro Prieto didn’t miss the opportunity to ask Cesia about it. However, the Spanish host asked her if the Cuban ‘played for the other team’. She replied: «I think he plays for both.»

It didn’t take long for the former member of CD9, who was in the middle of a vacation in San Miguel de Allende in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, to react to this controversial statement. Nobody would have imagined that he would do it in the way he did it and he ended up receiving all kinds of comments on Instagram.

It didn’t take long for fans, and also detractors, of William Valdés to react to this short video where he assured that he is not «bi» but a «big party animal». Just as he got hundreds of supportive comments, others didn’t hesitate to criticize the former member of CD9.
