William Levy Arrested in Florida for Disturbing the Peace

William Levy, the well-known Cuban actor, was arrested on Monday, April 14, in Broward County, Florida.

Authorities detained him for disturbing the peace, alleged intoxication, and trespassing on private property.

The news was confirmed by journalist Javier Ceriani, who stated that Levy would not be granted bail.

According to the report, the actor was found in possession of illegal substances at the time of his arrest.

The incident took place in northern Florida, where the actor’s residence is located.

Ceriani also claimed that William Levy appeared to be drunk and intoxicated when confronted by police.

During the program Sale el Sol, Joanna Vega-Biestro explained that the actor resisted arrest.

Levy, 44, has yet to make any official statement regarding the incident.

The actor, born William Gutiérrez Levy in Cojímar, Cuba, emigrated to the United States at the age of 14.

Settling in Miami, he earned a baseball scholarship and studied Business Administration.

He later pursued modeling and acting, which led him to star in several Mexican telenovelas.

Among his most popular roles are Cuidado con el ángel and Sortilegio, which solidified his fame.

William Levy also participated in the 2012 edition of Dancing with the Stars, gaining popularity in the U.S.
