Where do I vote?

How can I vote?

By Mail: You can apply for a mail ballot using an online form or a mail-in application. Applications must be returned promptly to ensure you receive and return your ballot before Election Day. Completed mail ballots must be postmarked by the day before Election Day for mailed submissions or returned by 5 p.m. the day before Election Day for in-person submissions.

North Dakota allows voters with disabilities to use electronic means to mark their ballots. Contact your county election official for details.

Early In-Person: Some counties offer early voting locations. Check with your county election official for availability and schedules.

Election Day: Voting hours vary by county and can be checked through your county election official or by visiting the official voting information website. Polls must be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the right to cast a ballot if you’re in line by closing time.

Official election website: Vote.ND.Gov
