Shakira stunned Times Square in New York on Tuesday, March 26, where she attracted thousands of people, mostly young individuals from various countries.

The Colombian singer provided a free concert to unveil her new album ‘Women Don’t Cry Anymore’.

It is said that Shakira arrived at this location aboard a VinFast VF9, a luxury car manufactured by the automotive company VinFast.

Shakira’s ‘mini’ concert was a huge success

An hour before Shakira’s concert, there was already a large crowd gathered, including New Yorkers and tourists, between 45th and 46th streets in this popular area.

A stage was set up on the roof of a building, surrounded by light screens projecting her image and with a balcony with a railing.

A clock was counting down to the start of the artist’s presentation.

With 38 seconds to go, a chorus of «Shakira, Shakira» was heard, and at the zero moment, the crowd began to scream, as reported by Efe.

Shakira descended onto the stage on a platform dressed in black pants and a sweater, with a short necklace of transparent crystals and loose hair.

Her hit ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ opened this brief concert, where she danced, moved her hips, and jumped on stage as always.

The 47-year-old Barranquilla native, smiling and blowing kisses to the audience, also performed ‘Congratulations’, ‘TQG’, ‘Aim’, and her ‘Bzrp Music Session, Vol. 53’.

This song, dedicated to Piqué and also becoming a hit, whose lyrics «women don’t cry anymore» give the album its title and its upcoming tour.

It is said that Shakira arrived in Times Square in a VinFast VF9, although there is doubt if it is her favorite car.

This car, previously known as VinFast VF e36, is considered a ‘true flagship’.

A simulated diffuser was added in the center, although the design of the side stands out.

To conclude, the VinFast VF9 dispensed with its rear pillar, which was replaced by a glass wraparound and a special cutout behind the rear doors.

According to the Motor.es portal, the car has a 15-inch touchscreen with voice control with natural language commands.

Inside, it has three rows and seven seats or three rows with two ‘Captain’ type seats.
