In another interview for the same outlet, former Univisión host, Aleyda Ortiz, revealed that «there was no longer room for conformism in her life,» stating that throughout her life she has been minimizing herself and that was something she was no longer willing to do:

“I think I have minimized myself over the years, like I managed to lose weight, and like this is not enough, I won Nuestra Belleza Latina and said ‘this is enough’, I entered TV and I said the same thing to myself, and now I wonder why? Why do I have to put a limit on my dreams?”

After these statements, Aleyda Ortiz, former host of Despierta América, pointed out that there were an infinite number of things she wanted to do, and that being a host is not everything: “I always imagined myself speaking, singing, acting and even dancing.
