According to polls conducted by The New York Times, Siena College and The Philadelphia Inquirer between April 28 and May 9, Trump leads in five key states.

These states include Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. Biden is only leading in Wisconsin among these swing states.

President Biden is experiencing a decline in support, particularly among young people, Black and Hispanic voters who make up a large part of his base electorate.

Biden’s reputation is impacted by several factors, including a desire for change, economic discontet and the situation in Gaza.

The polls reflect widespread dissatisfaction with the current state of the country — with a significant percentage of voters expressing the need for major changes or even a complete overhaul of the political and economic systems.

About 70% of surveyed voters believe significant changes or a complete rebuild of these systems are necessary.

Trump’s strength among young and non-white voters has altered the electoral map, giving him an advantage in states like Arizona, Georgia and Nevada.

However, Donald Trump faces significant challenges, including the issue of abortion, considered one of his biggest vulnerabilities according to the newspaper.

The polls show that 64% of voters in battleground states support abortion being legal in most or all cases, including 44% of Trump’s supporters.

This issue could influence the final decision of many voters, according to EFE.

On the other hand, Joe Biden faces the challenge of the situation in Gaza and the United States’ support of Israel.

Around 13% of voters who previously supported Biden now express their dissatisfaction, especially due to the president’s foreign policy and the war in Gaza.
