Former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump said his determination to return to the White House is now stronger.
The message, issued on Sunday, came after a second attempt on Trump this summer.
The Republican encouraged his supporters to vote for him in the presidential elections on November 5.
Trump said he would never give up, despite recent attacks.
Trump says he is ‘safe’ after Florida incident
Hours earlier, Trump had said he was «safe and well.»
The incident occurred at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
A 58-year-old man, Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested with an AK-47 rifle.
The FBI is investigating the case as an «attempted murder.»
This is the second assassination attempt against Trump in less than two months.
The first attack occurred on July 13 during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

At that event, a 20-year-old shot Trump, wounding him in the ear.
The Secret Service shot dead the attacker after the attack in Pennsylvania.
That incident led to numerous resignations over security lapses, including that of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.
Cheatle resigned after calling the assassination attempt the «biggest operational failure» in decades.
Since then, security measures have been stepped up to protect Trump.
These measures include the use of bulletproof glass screens at outdoor events.
