A letter containing a terrorist threat triggered a major police operation at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
The note, found on one of the pews inside the church, warned of a potential attack on the same day.
This alarming discovery occurred on Easter Sunday, the central date of Holy Week, which began on April 13 with Palm Sunday.
During this celebration, thousands of faithful gather to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus, as told in the Gospels.

Due to the seriousness of the threat, French authorities launched a security operation involving explosive detection dogs inside and around the cathedral.
Notre Dame, one of the world’s most iconic religious and architectural landmarks, had only recently reopened in December 2024.
