  • He will pay dearly for his threats.
  • Salomon B. Levin faces charges.
  • What else was he planning?

A student is arrested after threatening his classmates with a tragedy like what happened in Uvalde. It has been more than three weeks since Salvador Ramos walked into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas and gunned down 19 children and two teachers in one of the worst school shootings in recent US history.

Now, an 18-year-old in Washington state has been charged with threatening his classmates directly and through social media. The student identified as Salomon B. Levin faces two felony charges for the threats, according to Dayton 247.

These threats caused Juanita High School to suddenly cancel classes last Monday. Following the arrest, according to court documents obtained by the local news outlet, the King County Prosecutor’s Office asked for a $200,000 bond.

The 18-year-old is due to appear on June 27 for his arraignment. The young man was taken into custody shortly after authorities learned of the threats that appeared on Instagram on Sunday, according to the Kirkland Police Department.

It was not immediately clear if Salomon B. Levin’s bond was posted. Police initially considered filing misdemeanor charges against the young man in Kirkland Municipal Court. Ultimately, prosecutors sought harsher charges, according to Dayton 247.

According to the outlet, the 18-year-old «caused fear in dozens of students and parents» with his posts on Instagram. The young man told his classmates, “If you stay out of line, you will end up like those kids in Uvalde,” which sparked fear among parents.

In addition, according to court documents, Salomon B. Levin’s Instagram post was intended to scare people but what was revealed about the young student from Washington state was even worse.

Another ‘secret’ that was discovered after the 18-year-old’s arrest was that he had a list of people he wanted to “get rid of”. The police stated: “that he wanted to harm people individually” in addition to the fact that he mentioned “having a gun in his fantasies”.
