  • Sueño millonario shares the story of Rufino García.
  • He found his purpose in the food industry.
  • He shares the idea that hard work does pay off but it’s not something easy to grasp.

Rufino García’s story begins from a very young age when he disliked going to school, preferring to work on tasks he believed were for grown-ups.

Because of this, he always found himself taking jobs in the fields or elsewhere to generate income and build his own capital.

Rufino arrived in the United States at the age of fourteen, landing straight in Georgia. His first job was in the kitchen, where he discovered his fondness for this environment.

He started as a dishwasher and later got involved in food preparation, which is when he thought about starting his own business to strive for his goals.

One of the major reasons García insisted so much on being proactive is because a man once told him to always get down to work.

With that in mind and the desire to truly succeed, he decided to venture out and open his first restaurant called La Hacienda, which was the seed that would yield a great deal of satisfaction.

This first restaurant was the result of a group of partners who believed in García’s project, and it would be the foundation for what would later become a chain.

With the help of his family, the business progressed slowly but greatly, and in his mind, more projects were already being prepared with a great sense of enthusiasm.

This entrepreneur’s restaurant has a concept rooted in his origins and culture. He says the menu was prepared by him, although he did not attend any culinary school or the like.

The seats are made of pine, and the decorations include Talavera pottery and Mexican cultural elements. It also features Aztec masks.

His clientele is mostly American, but it also includes people from different places. In fact, he shares, he is at a loss for words when customers want to purchase these items.

García’s goal is to have more than ten restaurants, and he feels confident that he will achieve it.

One of the thoughts that he feels has helped him the most, and that he truly believes in, is that hard work does bear fruit.

The key to success is good communication with people and having faith in oneself. Never give up.

Undoubtedly, the story of Rufino García and how his restaurant La Hacienda came to be is worthy of knowing and admiring.

Sueño millonario bids farewell for now and hopes you’ll join us in this and more stories of people who didn’t give up and found ways to achieve their goals.
