Smith’s mother told WISN 12 News that her 41-year-old son was at the Scene 1 Lounge a block away at the time.

At that moment, the DJ announced that a car was being stolen in the Taco Bell parking lot.

She said it wasn’t his car, but he still went to check it out. That’s when he was shot and killed.

Milwaukee police are still searching for suspects in the Taco Bell shooting and are asking for information at 414-935-7360 or Crime Stoppers at 414-224-Tips.
