Deposit of Benefits and Requirements for Eligible Low-Income Families
The money will be deposited onto EBT transfer cards in June, July, and August.
Each dependent child will receive $40 per month during these months.
This SNAP program is expected to benefit about 29 million children in at least 35 states.
To qualify, families must meet certain requirements.
Households must be receiving benefits from programs such as SNAP, TANF, or Head Start.
Children must be receiving free meals at school.
Families must have incomes at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
