Alongside Guette, his manager was found gravely injured but managed to survive.

According to his testimony, both were intercepted by armed men who took them to an unknown location where they were beaten and tortured.

The manager explained that he survived because the attackers thought he was dead.

Local residents found them in the bushes and alerted the Valle del Cauca Police.

Officers immediately transported the survivor to El Rosario Hospital in Ginebra, before he was transferred to a more advanced facility in Buga.

The Attorney General’s Office and the CTI have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of Zair Guette’s murder and identify those responsible.
