Just one day after Valentine’s Day, Colombian singer Shakira made a shocking announcement on social media.
She’s releasing her twelfth studio album, titled Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore), which will drops on Friday, March 22.

According to Rolling Stone, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran has 16 songs.
There are eight new tracks and a remix, plus seven successful singles that have already been released.
«Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself,» expressed Shakira.
Las Mujeres Yo No Lloran will feature four different covers, designed by Jaime de la Iguana: Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond.
Songs on Shakira’s new album

At the beginning of 2023, Shakira surprised everyone with the release of ‘BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.’
Perhaps few believed that this collaboration with Argentine producer Bizarrap would be a worldwide success.
Afterwards, more songs that will be included in her new album would follow, including ‘TQG’ and ‘Acróstico,’ dedicated to her sons Milan and Sasha.
Later on, ‘Copa Vacía’ and ‘El Jefe’ were released It is worth mentioning that in 2022 she released the singles ‘Te Felicito’ and ‘Monotonía.’
Shakira stated that each song has its own character

Among the songs from her new album, of which Shakira has already spoken a little, one of them is ‘Puntería.’
For this track, she thought it would be great to have a rapper, and the only person who came to mind was Cardi B, whom she met in Paris.
Regarding ‘La Fuerte,’ the Colombian singer said that Bizarrap always knows how to bring out the strength.
It is noteworthy that Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran will include a remix by Tiësto and a vinyl version of ‘Puntería.’

On social media, Shakira shared a snippet of one more of the songs that will come on her new album: ‘Tiempo Sin Verte.’
«A sound that I feel is very mine,» wrote the Barranquilla, Colombia native, who looks more radiant than ever.
Regarding ‘Cohete,’ it is only known that Rauw Alejandro is on this track, as well as ‘Te Felicito.’
And ‘(Entre Paréntesis)’ is an homage to the regional Mexican genre.
Shakira says «life is a bitch»

The last three songs that will be on Shakira’s new album are ‘Cómo, Dónde y Cuándo,’ ‘Nassau’ and ‘Última.’
Shakira describes the first song as realistic yet very optimistic: «Between routine and stress, life is a bitch,» she said.
On the other hand, ‘Nassau’ has an afrobeat sound that will surely get everyone dancing.
