200 missing children rescued: Is María Gómez Pérez among them?
The search for missing children has resulted in the recovery of 200 minors in a nationwide operation by the U.S. Marshals Service.

The United States Marshals Service announced the recovery and location of about 200 missing children.
This operation, named «We Will Find You 2,» was conducted over six weeks.
The operation’s objective was to locate missing or kidnapped children across the country.
The agency reported recovering 123 children and locating another 77 in safe environments.
Six-Week Operation to Recover Missing Children
The operations were carried out between May 20 and June 24.
They focused on areas with large concentrations of missing children.
Acting U.S. Marshal Van Bayless emphasized the mission’s importance.
«It was a mission to recover the most vulnerable members of our communities,» said Bayless.
Ronald L. Davis, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service, also highlighted the operation’s significance.
Davis noted that some children were fleeing abusive environments.

Michelle DeLaune from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children spoke at the press conference.
DeLaune reported that her organization received over 36 million reports of child sexual exploitation last year.
The Center also handled nearly 150,000 calls at its 24/7 call center.
She pointed out that approximately 90% of the missing children had run away.
These children are at risk of homelessness and sexual trafficking.
However, among the recovered children, María Gómez Pérez is not found.
María Gómez Pérez: Missing Girl in Georgia
María, a Hispanic girl missing in Georgia, has not yet been located.
María Gómez Pérez, 12 years old, disappeared in Hall County, Georgia.
She was last seen on May 29 at her home in Gainesville.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are collaborating on the search.
More than 70 investigators are working day and night to find María.
The Hispanic community in Gainesville and Atlanta has shown great solidarity in the search.
Despite the efforts, there has been no success so far.
Authorities have increased the reward to $50,000 for information about María.
