Investigators from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) continue to search for María Gómez Pérez.
The 12-year-old girl was last seen five weeks ago at her home on Westside Drive, Gainesville, Georgia.
In a statement, the HCSO reaffirmed their commitment to the safe return of María.
They thanked the community for their help in keeping Maria’s case in the public’s mind.
HCSO Warning to the Community as the Search for María Gómez Pérez Continues
The HCSO took the opportunity to issue a warning to the community.
They urged caution in community involvement related to the case.
They encouraged people to stay alert and familiarize themselves with María’s appearance through photos shared on social media.
They reminded the community that María’s appearance may have changed in the past few weeks.
They warned against searching for María alone or in groups.
They asked that any sightings or information be reported directly to the police.
