These threats have led to cancellations, precautionary closures, and ongoing investigations.

At least nine people have been arrested in connection with these threats.

Authorities have ramped up security measures across various schools in the state.

Chris Hosey, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, acknowledged the growing fear among students and parents.

Hosey emphasized the swift response of law enforcement to each incident.

«I’m aware that students and parents, both in this county and across the state, are scared.

You’ve likely seen reports about incidents involving other students who have made threats in different schools across our state.

In every one of these incidents, the police and law enforcement have pressed charges, made arrests, and acted very quickly,» stated Chris Hosey, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Jaymon Alan Justice.

Justice was charged as an adult for terrorist threats and disrupting school activities.

The teenager edited a social media post referencing a threat to a school.

The post was shared on Snapchat and tagged Cherokee Bluff High School.

Justice remains in the Hall County jail with a bond set at $2,600.

Another suspect, a 13-year-old, was arrested for making threats on Instagram against two schools.

The young boy faces juvenile charges for terrorist threats and disrupting school activities.
