Scherzer close to Los Angeles Dodgers in MLB mega trade

So far the deal isn’t closed but it has already emerged as a rumor in various media, because the exchange was not complete. The Nationals would land four young players for Washington’s dynamic duo.
Scherzer with permission to speak to Los Angeles Dodgers

Scherzer has been given permission to speak to the Dodgers to see if he gives up his right to veto any trade, a power he has as a 10-year veteran who has been with his team for at least five years.
If the trade goes through, it would be a breakthrough for the Dodgers, who are three games behind San Francisco, the leader of the NL West. Los Angeles holds first place in the wild-card race, two and a half games ahead of San Diego.
Los Angeles the big winner of the changes

Scherzer is 8-4 with a 2.76 ERA in 19 starts this season, and he also started the NL All-Star Game this month.
A three-time Cy Young Award winner and an eight-time All-Star, Scherzer would join a deep and talented Dodgers pitching staff that includes Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler, Julio Urías, David Price and more.
Trea Turner will bring power and defense

Turner is a force across the field, hitting .322 with 18 homers and 49 RBs, along with 21 stolen bases and is coming as a replacement for Corey Seager out with injury.
Trea, 28, was an All-Star for the first time this season. He tied a major league record by hitting for the cycle for the third time in his career, he did so last month on his birthday.
