What was the reason? The passing of renowned music producer Quincy Jones at the age of 91.

«I wish I could tell you the best words, my Quincy, but I am too sad to think of them,» she wrote.

Then, the native of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, expressed how Jones made her feel like part of his family.

«You opened my mind with new perspectives on so many different topics,» Salma said in this same message.

Some of these topics were medicine, technology, politics, loyalty, history, courage, friendship, and, obviously, music.

«I will always treasure in my heart everything I learned from your wisdom and generosity,» she concluded.

Salma Hayek’s followers showed their support in this sad time for her.

According to information from The Associated Press, Quincy Jones died last Sunday, November 3.

The music producer was accompanied until the last moments by his family at his home in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles.

Later this month, he would have received an honorary Academy Award.
