Little Leaf Farms has issued a recall of its Southwest Salad Kits due to the potential presence of undeclared fish and wheat allergens.
Individuals allergic or highly sensitive to these ingredients could experience severe or life-threatening reactions if they consume the product.
The issue was identified after a consumer complaint regarding incorrect ingredients found in the salad kit.
The affected batch was produced on February 19, 2025, resulting in one pallet containing 96 cases, with a total of 576 individual packages.
Limited Distribution: Fewer Than 20 Salads Recalled Across Three States
Recalled salads distributed in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire 🚨
Fewer than 20 salads were incorrectly assembled during this production run.
Retailers that received the product include: Ahold USA Freetown, Kilduff, Stew Leonard’s, Associated Grocers of New England, Shapiro Produce and C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (Hatfield).
The salads were sold between February 20 and February 22, 2025.
Consumers who purchased the recalled salads are urged to: Return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund or dispose of them immediately to avoid any health risks
