Mexican Tuna Tortillas

Tortillas are undoubtedly a popular and healthy ingredient.
Together with other ingredients, they open up many possibilities in the kitchen.
For this first recipe from LALA®, we will need a couple of simple ingredients, but tuna will be the guest of honor.
Now, prepare your kitchen utensils to start this cooking adventure.
Ingredients

- 1 can of tuna in water, drained
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, chopped (optional, to taste)
- 2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon Salt and pepper to taste
- Corn tortillas
- LALA® Cream
Preparation

In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with the tomato, onion, jalapeño (if using), and fresh cilantro.
Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture and stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix again.
Heat the corn tortillas on a griddle or skillet until lightly browned.
Place a portion of the tuna mixture on each one. Add LALA® Cream. Serve and enjoy your delicious Mexican tuna tortillas!
Chicken Tinga Tortillas

Tinga is a classic from Mexico, though it varies in preparation, as it can be made with pork or chicken.
It is a dish loved not only in Mexico but in parts of the United States due to cultural exchange.
For this version, we will use chicken as it is the most popular and adaptable to many palates.
Let’s move on to the ingredient list to cook this simple but tasty recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 1 can (400g) of crushed tomatoes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil
- Corn tortillas
- Optional toppings: sour cream, grated cheese, sliced avocado, fresh cilantro

Preparation Process

In a large skillet, heat some oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and cook for a few minutes.

Preparation Process

Incorporate the tomatoes and season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes.

Ingredients

- 2 flour tortillas
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese
- LALA® Cream
Preparation Process

In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until golden. Add the chopped tomato and cook until softened.
Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour over the mixture in the skillet. Stir continuously until the eggs are well cooked.
Heat the flour tortillas on a griddle or skillet. Place a portion of the egg mixture with chicken, onion, and tomato on each tortilla.
