Peso Pluma has been making headlines in recent weeks, if not throughout the entire year of 2023.

Although Peso Pluma became famous with songs about love, such as ‘Ella Baila Sola’ and ‘La Bebé’, he also has songs of a different nature.

Last year he released the song ‘Siempre Pendientes’, along with a music video.

In this song, the young artist shares the story of a soldier who serves under Joaquín Guzmán Loera, better known as El Chapo.

Besides ‘La Doble P’ the song also features Luis R. Conriquez, another artist who has gained recognition in recent months.

What does the song ‘Siempre Pendientes’ say?

The song begins by saying: «The government is very smart,» and that he’s «going to the front» with a «group of people.» That’s where Peso Pluma seems to make his first mistake.

The young singer mentions the initials of El Chapo (JGL), which he proudly displays on the grip of his gun, and that the bosses say: «I guard the area. Nobody gets in here.»

Next, the singer doesn’t hold back and describes going out for a ride while ten trucks follow him from behind: «I guard Mr. Guzmán’s territory.»

It seems that El Chapo’s enemies were not pleased with this controversial song by Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija.

In another part of this song, which provoked all kinds of reactions among listeners, Peso Pluma sings that he’s «making green».

He then mentions that he is «with Iván’s flag,» which could be interpreted as referring to one of El Chapo’s sons, Iván Archivaldo.

«And several Cheyennes are coming; they follow orders from 09. I’m a descendant from my aunt; I came when I was 13. Jorge disappears, he’s calm, says 27.»

To close this controversial song, La Doble P sings once again about guarding Mr. Guzmán’s territory.

He is threatened for his «disrespectful and loose tongue»

A few weeks ago, four narcomantas appeared in different locations in the city of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

In these narcomantas, Peso Pluma was told to cancel the concert he had scheduled for Saturday, October 14. In the end, that’s what happened.

They also criticized the young artist for his «disrespectful and loose tongue,» warning that if he performed, it would be the last concert he gave.

Upon learning of this, many people compared the situation to what happened to Chalino Sánchez and Valentín Elizalde. Both men were murdered.

Finally, it’s worth noting that these narcomantas threatening Peso Pluma were signed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

According to the Los Angeles Times, this cartel is the primary rival of the Sinaloa Cartel in Tijuana and nearly all of Mexico.

The young singer tends to be very reserved when it comes to such matters, although he supposedly provided a statement on this issue to the New York Times.

We’ll have to wait and see what La Doble P does in the coming days. TO WATCH THE VIDEO OF THE SONG ‘SIEMPRE PENDIENTES’, CLICK HERE.
