This 31-year-old is known because of the disastrous military operation in Culiacán in 2019 that ended with his unexpected release.

He also asked hitmen that he knew to kill informants and a drug dealer, according to the government report published on Thursday.

According to Diario Puntual, the name of the singer El Chapo’s son Ovidio Guzmán ordered to be killed is unknown.

However, it’s worth mentioning that several regional Mexican singers have been shot to death in recent years.

Ovidio is also known as ‘El Ratón’ and, together with his older brother Joaquín Guzmán López, they supervise around 11 laboratories in Sinaloa that produce between three and five tons of methamphetamine per month.

Ovidio and his brother Joaquín Guzmán López are two of the most prominent members of the Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal organization that has its own cell well known by the US authorities.

They classify it as ‘The Guzmán-López transnational organization’.

It is unknown when the singer’s murder occurred

According to infobae, no details have been given regarding when the murder occurred, in the same way the name of the artist has not been revealed.

But now it is publicly known that El Chapo’s son Ovidio Guzmán is already married.

The State Department describes the four as, «high-ranking members of the Sinaloa Cartel and subject to federal prosecution for their participation in the illicit drug trade.»

The four male children of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán are not the capo’s only heirs, as he had children with at least four women.

Ovidio, Joaquín and Griselda Guadalupe Guzmán López, are the children of Joaquín Guzmán Loera and his second wife, Griselda López.

Ovidio is possibly the best known of El Chapo’s sons. His face was all over the media when, on October 17, 2019, mexican autorities arrested and released El Chapo’s son Ovidio Guzmán.
