A tragedy has shaken the Venezuelan community in Clarksville City, Tennessee, after Oscarina Rincón lost her life in a brutal act of domestic violence.
During the early hours of Monday, February 24, Rincón was attacked by her partner, Luis Alejandro Parra Montiel, in her apartment.
Originally from San Cristóbal, Venezuela, Rincón suffered multiple stab wounds during an argument.
Her 12-year-old son witnessed the attack, seeing the moment his mother was brutally assaulted.
Luis Alejandro Parra Montiel Fled Barefoot After the Crime
After committing the crime, Parra Montiel, 34, from Maracaibo, Zulia State, fled barefoot and shirtless.
The Clarksville police immediately launched a manhunt to locate the aggressor.
Authorities requested public assistance in finding the suspect, who was known to have family in Utah.
Rincón’s relatives in Utah pleaded for Parra Montiel to surrender and face justice.
The couple had met six months ago in Utah and soon after decided to move to Tennessee, closer to Rincón’s family.
According to Eddy Rincón, the victim’s brother, Oscarina had tried to end the relationship after experiencing previous episodes of violence.

«He seemed like a good person, but he had the devil inside him,» Eddy stated in a call with Utahzolanos.
The victim’s brother denounced that the aggressor stabbed her in front of her son and then fled like a coward.
The family received the devastating news after paramedics’ unsuccessful attempts to save her life.
Oscarina had arrived in the United States just over a year ago, hoping for a better future for her two children.
The news of her murder has shaken the Venezuelan community in both Utah and Tennessee, with many demanding justice.
The search for Parra Montiel ended with his capture in a wooded area near the crime scene.
Authorities received support from the Tennessee Highway Patrol Aviation Unit to locate him.
Luis Alejandro Parra Montiel was arrested and now faces charges for the murder of Oscarina Rincón.
The victim’s family demands that justice be served for the horrific crime that took the life of a mother who only wanted to protect her children.
